User's Age: 41
Sex: Female

Details of condition/injury sustained - "Migraines, long term chronic pain including arthritis (knees, hips and ankles) and sciatica in both legs.

"Post Traumatic Stress Disorder following significant trauma caused by death of grandfather, loss of my job, critical injury to my horse and his subsequent death of colic over an 18 month period."

Medical diagnosis: "Chronic pain, PTSD"

Medical prognosis: "Discharged from pain clinic with knowledge that there is no more that can be done at this point in time except to rely on painkillers for the rest of my life.

"Medication prescribed for PTSD caused significant allergies and had to be ceased. No further treatment options available."

Date of first use of Arc: "10th March 2016"

Details of any improvements made whilst using the Arc: "Since using Arc on a regular basis I have not experienced significant sciatica. Prior to using Arc I could hardly walk and was in constant pain 24 hours a day in spite of regular physiotherapy treatments. I have not suffered sciatic pain since using the unit.

"Migraines - since using the unit I have gone from suffering at least one migraine a week to only suffering at times of incredible stress. I have had migraines my whole life.

"Arthritis - Use of Arc appears to reduce the swelling around my joints. I have had significant improvement in my mobility since using Arc.

"PTSD - When I first started using Arc I went through a period of not being able to stop crying. I felt like everything I had been holding inside me was finally free to come out. I was able to sleep better at night and instead of denying the traumas I have been able to face them and come to terms with the things that have happened in the last 18 months."
